  • Leader of 15 full-length productions comprised of 37 casts and over 2,500 young performers.
  • Met students of all ability levels with an enthusiastic mission to lift them to their highest artistic potential through a joyful and rigorous production schedule.
  • Collaborated with directors, choreographers, music directors, and designers to ensure a unified artistic vision and excellence.

Education and Mentorship

  • Created and taught signature musical theater jazz and tap classes, enriching the educational offerings and growing studio enrollment.
  • Managed summer camp programming, overseeing daily operations and curriculum for 800+ campers 50+ staff members, and multiple class disciplines.
  • Built and conducted training workshops for camp counselors and teaching artists, enhancing program quality and staff development.
  • Created mentorship opportunities for promising students through assistant direction and choreography positions in select productions to foster the next generation of artistic leaders.

Program Development

  • Developed, implemented, and led the kickstART program, bringing musical theater education programming to several San Jose elementary schools.
  • Designed and facilitated professional development workshops specifically for public school teachers. Focused on empowering teachers with the tools to build and sustain in-house theater programs for students from 1st to 5th grade.

Curriculum Design and Coach Training

  • Developed and implemented a comprehensive dance curriculum tailored for young gymnasts aged 4–12, focusing on foundational dance skills, creativity, and expression.
  • Collaborated closely with the gym owner to integrate the dance program into the existing gymnastics offerings, enhancing athletes’ performance through improved rhythm, flexibility, and artistry.
  • Adapted teaching methods to fit within a gymnastics facility, overcoming challenges related to space and equipment limitations.
  • Designed and led a coach training program, including both written and practical training components, to equip gymnastics coaches with the skills necessary to teach the new dance curriculum effectively.

Strategic Marketing and Program Implementation

  • Created strategic marketing initiatives, including the development of communication plans, promotional materials, and social media content to increase program visibility.
  • Organized parent education sessions and produced video content to highlight the benefits of integrating dance with gymnastics.
  • Managed program launch strategies, adjusting timelines and goals to align with enrollment milestones and resource availability.
